In December I bought more shares of BBL and also WIN. I used to own WIN but then sold it and now I own it again.

My December dividend income was the best out of all months of this year!

In December I received dividends:

FTR$25.83
ARCP$18.75
RYN$12.96
KO$15.47
UL$18.09
MCD$28.90
WU$7.67
MAT$30.61
EXPE$1.81
CNP$7.13
PFE$13.38
TGT$10.40
ESV$22.50
RIG$30.00

Here you can see my progress for 12 months

I earned an interest of $31.23
$34.04 in points on my Discover card
$  1.00 in points on my Amazon card
I received $3.00 gift card from Sears,
$10.00 gift card from Best Buy
$10.00 gift card from LL Bean
               $15.00 gift card from Kohls
$10.00 gift card from Palais Royal

Gift cards were perfect for Christmas Shopping!

I finally accepted AMEX offer to get their credit card because receiving 20% back if I used the card 20 times per month was the offer I could not pass by. So next month Discover points will go down and I will see how Amex points will work for me.

My total financial passive income for the month of December was $377.91

I was very impressed with this month!

At this moment my goal is to have $1k in monthly passive income from dividends and other financial institutions.

Thanks for reading and please share your thoughts and progress.

  1. Great job, imagine what that total's gonna look like when that nice BBL dividend comes in as well.

  3. Happy,

Great looking month up there. Congrats on the all-time high.

I'd be careful, however, with some of those high-yield plays you're investing in. Sometimes stretching for the additional income isn't worth the risk. ARCP has already suspended its payout, and I wouldn't be surprised to see ESV and RIG do the same in the future. I thought ARCP would be a solid investment, though one can't foresee accounting fraud. ESV and RIG, on the other hand, just sport poor fundamentals. Be careful!

    Cheers.

    1. Hello Jason! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. I just decided to keep all these risky stocks for now. I plan to sell them eventually though...

  4. Great way to end 2014. December passive income was more than solid to say the least. Do you plan to keep your ARCP shares or sell like many other dividend bloggers? Thanks for sharing. Look forward to your 2015 progress.

    1. Thank you DivHut! I plan to keep ARCP for now. I participate in different accounting/audit projects for publicly traded companies and I know errors happen. So I want to watch this stock for a while. What about you?

  6. Congrats on the solid month. I've been considering getting a money back credit card so I should look into that AMEX card. 20% is a great rate.

    1. There are some conditions in order to meet this 20%, like you have to make 20 transactions and they might cancel it in a future, so I will see how it will work. Thanks for stopping by!
